I’m ok with lazily removing my eye make-up which is sporadically worn as these posts are. Unplatting my Jedi braid after spending all day using the force for such seemingly trivial matters.

Un-clipping earrings that are a little loose. Responsible for a constant panic several times a day, making sure they haven’t come undone.

They say someone is thinking of you when an earring falls from a lobe unintentionally.

I’m torturing someone aren’t I?

Tomorrow, I’ll get some new butterfly back clips for my pretty ear things.

While we’re doing introductions…

This is Brandie – she is a 3 year old boxer dog of ours who thinks she is still 3 months young.

She likes licking yogurt out of almost empty yogurt tubs. She likes pigs ears. She likes to play with pigeons and ducks. She steals porterhouse steaks. She lies on her back and makes gremlin faces. She trots like a horse. She knows when you’re down and cuddles you until you’re better.

Fancy bumping into you here. Statistically speaking, the chances of this meet was highly unlikely given this is the first post, so lets make it worth it?

Due to the lack of content here at the moment, perhaps it would be a grand idea to list you down my plans for this space in hopes that it might entice you to return one fine sunny e-day. And the fact that I have the mad skills at making lists:

• Life un-blog – wtf does this mean? I do want to share the things that occur in my life to you, however mundane they may be. You may find some rather random and out-of-context posts from time to time because I rather appear elusive than mundane.  It means that I hope this doesn’t become one of those blogs where ineloquent ramblings occur. I’ll try and keep it concise (although, it appears this isn’t really happening yet). This space is first and foremost a place for my narcissistic side to have a stretch – if you happen to find this entertaining, consider that a bonus.
• unLife blog – so after reading what I just typed above, I’d also like to express that not everything that occurs in my life will be posted here. I think secrets are delicious. Don’t you?
• Photo things – I don’t consider myself a photographer. I don’t like some of the tags which are associated with the title. I do however enjoy taking photos, sharing post production techniques and talking camera gadgets. I also work at a photolab which lets me get my printing giddy~ness on. I have had work published in magazines and exhibited  in Queensland and Melbourne before but worry not, my head has deflated since then. I do consider myself a n00b though – I barely know all the settings to my DSLR, I know nothing about professional lighting and strobing and it was only last year that I stopped using the [P]-mode. Terrifying, isn’t it?
• Food things – whether it be wining and dining or cooking at home, I’m sure there will be amazing reviews which lack credibility and recipes which involve processes professional foodies would scoff at. Here’s hoping my mum doesn’t find this place – she’d machete me in a heartbeat for divulging her cooking secrets.
• Teen Angst – I’m not a teenager anymore but I have been told that I write superbly when angry. I’ve mellowed with age though, so these types of posts will be relatively sparse.

So here’s for the first post.
